About

Ukiyo-e Japanese Art Inspiration 浮世絵

The Japanese Ukiyo-e collection is my invention to retouch old and damaged Ukiyo-e images from the Edo period. It's not just derivative, it's the new life of old paintings.

Ukiyo-e, means "pictures of the floating world, and it refers to a world with artists, nomads, and Geisha (A special term for female professional dancer and hostess)

Ukiyo-e is the artwork in which Japanese artists produced woodblock prints and often portraited Geisha.
